ANTON CHEKHOV'S "CHERRY ORCHARD OF THE LIVING DEAD"
Table 8 Productions and Off Strip Productions present the WORLD PREMIERE of "Anton Chekhov's 'Cherry Orchard of the Living Dead'!"
Written and directed by Troy Heard ("Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson," "The Chalk Boy"), ANTON CHEKHOV'S "CHERRY ORCHARD OF THE LIVING DEAD" is a madcap mashup of the late 19th Century Russian playwright's works with a healthy dose of George A. Romero-style Zombie-Fu!
ABOUT "CHERRY ORCHARD": The peripatetic actress Madame Ranevskaya has returned to her ancestral manor following yet another whirlwind farewell tour - complete with extended stop in Tijuana - only to find things turned upside down. Instead of marrying off her nubile daughter Masha to the local scholar, she’s boarding up windows and grabbing pistols to ward off the coming onslaught of resurrected serfs. Questions arise: What are Gregorovitch Samsonovsky’s true intentions? Will Anfisa finally make a warm cup of tea? And what is that smell emanating from the barn? Only Pepito the Chihuahua knows for sure...

"...And I'm Addicted to Karaoke"
"Karaoke. We've all done it. At our favorite bar, or restaurant, or within our own homes, in various states of mind and sobriety. But is there more to it than just singing into a microphone while words stream across a screen? Can it be that the people and the songs and even the karaoke host have more to their story? The simple answer is yes.
Please join veteran Las Vegas KJ Shiela Del Monte and some of her most enthusiastic singers for an afternoon of exploring karaoke and exactly what makes it so fun and well... addicting.
*Note: The use of adult language and adult content is used. Show may not be suitable for viewers under 16 years old."

SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD
From the writer of The Last Five Years, and Parade, SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD is the show that put Jason Robert Brown on the map.
Brown transports his audience from the deck of a 1492 Spanish sailing ship to a ledge 57 stories above Fifth Avenue to meet a startling array of characters ranging from a young man who has determined that basket-ball is his ticket out of the ghetto to a woman whose dream of marrying rich nabs her the man of her dreams and a soulless marriage. With a small, powerhouse cast and a driving, exquisitely crafted score including Off-Broadway hits like "Stars and the Moon," "King of the World," "I'm not Afraid of Anything," "I'd Give it All for You," and more, SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD sits on the border of Musical and song-cycle. It's carried by a singular theme - the moment of decision.
Join Off Strip Productions as we present this heart-warming, toe-tapping masterpiece in that intimate, innovative style that you can only find at Las Vegas' Onyx Theatre!

"SNL on acid!" ~ Las Vegas Weekly
"Motherfuppets is a risky improv / sketch comedy show that includes liberal doses of absurdism, screaming, physical violence, and general mayhem. Which is to say it’s very good. I haven’t experienced something this left-of-center since living in an illegal artist warehouse in Baltimore-- can’t push this much further without breaking laws.” ~ Artsvegas.com

Song-Poems Wanted! The Musical
Song-Poems Wanted! The Musical is an original musical that explores the hopes and dreams of the poets and the musicians whose lives are connected through the fictional "Star Records" through the wacky and sometimes touching art of Song-Poems.
The score incorporates actual Song-Poems with lyrics written by everyday, ordinary people, along with exclusive material written by composer Art Kaufman, and lyricists Hellen Bates & Larry Carpenter. It's all tied together through Carpenter's light-hearted and imaginative book.
Off-Strip Productions is proud and excited to premiere a brand new version of Song-Poems Wanted! right here in Las Vegas at the Onyx Theatre. Come support original art in our community and give us feedback on what you see. Be a part of the creative process!
